Care to Dare: Unleashing Astonishing Potential Through Secure Base Leadership
By: George Kohlrieser, Susan Goldsworthy, Duncan Coombe
Format: eBook new_icon

: Ninez This book changed my life!  It shows us the importance of having and recognizing “secure bases” and that with them, one has the possibility to basically do anything, and especially be more equipped to face challenging times. Our brains are naturally hardwired to make us play “not to lose” or stay in his/her comfort zone (i.e. for survival, fight or flight).  But with the help of secure bases, that mechanism can be switched off so that a person chooses to look at each situation as an opportunity to learn, explore, stretch and eventually reach his/her maximum potential, instead of focus on the negative and the pain of change.  A great book for personal leadership as well as professional leadership.
