CU Scholar launched

University of Colorado-Boulder has recently launched an online repository, CU Scholar, to preserve and promote research from this academic institution. Maintained by the University Libraries, this digital library is open access, making scholarly content available to readers around the world, without requiring the purchase of a journal subscription.

Visitors to the repository can browse by collection, discipline, and author or search the entire repository. It is additionally possible to search across the open repositories of approximately 300 other universities with free online repositories.  Email alerts for saved searches and RSS feeds for all new literature in CU Scholar can also help researchers stay informed of new additions to the database.

To browse and explore this new digital library, visit CU Scholar. More information on the system is available from the CU Scholar website or the news story in the Boulder Daily Camera.
